Will's thumb traced his sharp cheekbone, caressing each freckle. He was close enough to count them all, every freckle and imperfection littered across his best friend's skin.
Every flaw was so gorgeous to him, he had memorised every itch of them - dedicated many sketch books over the years to forever immortalise them. To immortalise his infatuating memory of Mike Wheeler.
Leaning forward, his breath ghosts across Mike's lips. Their lips briefly touch, barely for a moment, then Mike's hand comes between them, gently covering Will's lips.

He didn’t count on his fingers, not even under the desk.
