Quicksilver Middleton is content with his life as a DiamondWire android and his place in the life of his creator/father Daniel. However, he senses the dangers of Citrus Industries, a company led by a off-the-hinges tech rival Julius Eckart, closing in on DiamondWire, and more specifically, on Dan. All while Quicksilver contemplates his existence and humanity, wondering if he'll ever truly feel like a person or like a machine pretending to be something he's not.
