Summary
The drinks are good. They burn on the way down and leave him feeling more than a little tipsy. He's not sure how many he's had but there's one server that's being particularly attentive to keeping his cup full, so he's probably imbibed more than he should've.
It isn't until later, being chased through the forests of an unexplored world, dizzy, delusional and entirely alone that he vows to never drink substances he doesn't have access to the ingredients of, no matter how good they are.Good dose of hurt Bones, emotionally destroyed Jim, both of them being ridiculously in love with each other and lots of angst...(with a happy ending ;)

Summary
It's funny, in a cruel, sadistic sort of way, how your mind just stops, ceases to function in that momentary all encompassing relief when you find someone you lost, in the same way a mother would react to finding her missing child, he supposes, because all of the god awful scenarios of what could of happened to them race through your mind at 100 miles an hour, and in that moment when you find them again, those thoughts suddenly cease to exist like your brain short circuited with relief.
Of course, a few seconds later in Jim's case, they all come flooding back at him again like the walls of a dam bursting open under the pressure, because the body of his friend is lying crumpled on the floor, leaking blood like sweat that contrasts so morbidly against unusually ashen skin, like red roses blooming and smothering their way through a field of white ones.

Summary
On their fifth wedding anniversary, Leonard McCoy comes home to an overturned coffee table, a trace of blood, and a front door left open—his wife, Jocelyn, gone without a word. The police descend, the media swarms, and Detective Pike looks at Leonard like he already knows how this story ends.
The only person Leonard can turn to is Jim Kirk: his best friend, his alibi, his almost-something-else. Jim believes him without hesitation, takes him in without question... But when the investigation starts circling their friendship—too close, too loyal, too charged—Leonard realises the truth might not save him, it might condemn him.

Summary
Affection or sun burn swells across Jim’s chest. He rolls his coffee cup between his wrists, soothing a small patch of his burn.
He hadn’t thought he’d been sitting in the car for that long, but time does have an irritating habit of slowing to a slog when he is apart from Bones.
[Request: McKirk hurt/comfort with Bones taking care of Jim]

Summary
As agreed, McCoy waits to have his breakdown on the curb outside the diner until Jim is settling the bill.
Jim finds him curled up over his knees making animalistic sounds and gives him a nudge with his shoe. "Are you any less of a miserable bastard once you’re not hungover?”
“No.”
Jim can respect that. “There’s a shuttleport in Iowa City. You need a lift?”
[Jim misses a fight. Bones misses a shuttle. They don't miss Riverside at all].

Summary
Dr. Leonard McCoy gets a surprise when he’s treating a patient at his clinic.
“Do I get a kiss?” Jim teases and Leonard chokes out a sob.
“Infant,” He barks wetly, but he tugs Jim towards him by his broad shoulders, just resting there for a moment as Jim looks at him and it’s all too much all of a sudden and he pulls Jim towards him, cupping his face with another around his waist and he kisses him, tasting sand and aeroplane coffee and the sticky sweetness of nicotine. Jims skin is warm and firm beneath his hands, the fabric of his dress blues silky and sturdy, something to be admired, especially when donned by Jim.
