For most of the world, Quirks were the start of a major shift, with people starting to gain powers, villains emerging, heroes standing up to fight them.
It wasn't like that for Australia. Humans weren't the only ones to gain Quirks, with almost 50% of the animal population getting a superpower as well. Thrust into chaos, Australia had no choice to almost completely abandon the surface to the rampaging super-animals, creating fortified cities and bunkers to survive in.
200 years after the emergence of Quirks, Edward is a young man that has been training almost his whole life to become a Ranger, someone who is trusted to venture out into the wasteland to keep the maps updated, and cull major threats to the settlements.
