Something hiccups, stops, tumbles down the stairs. It’s the pile of empty buckets encrusted with paint, Till notices distantly, but he can’t see them.
Instead, he sees black. Black hair, black eyes, all in the right hue, and the beginning of a black sweater under a pair of headphones snuggled around a neck. It is so absurd that no words get out, his mind dizzy and playing statics in an unnerving loop.
Till licks his lips, feels electricity in his veins, tries to swallow and fails, throat dry. Says, “Ivan?”Ivan and Till have a second chance, if they decide to grab it.

Kaeya was standing behind the counter when he made eye contact with Diluc. “Diluc? Isn’t this a little cheap for you?”
“I’m stopping by because I was here and needed coffee. Do you…work here or something?” ”
OR
Kaeya and Diluc haven’t seen eye to eye in a long time. When Diluc walks into a cafe while Kaeya’s working his shift, it rekindles a lot of the emotions he’s been trying to push down. Pair that with Rosaria moving into Kaeya’s apartment, who’s seemingly hell bent on getting the two brothers to make up, and Kaeya’s life is set to take a turn, hopefully for the better.

Kaeya was always good at playing cards, but he had never been dealt a hand quite like this before. It was devoid of aces, kings, jacks, or queens, and a two of hearts had stolen his chances of a full set of spades. The best part of it all, sliding the cards across the bar top to reveal their faces, was that it was a crude reenactment of the past six months. Two hearts fighting against the prestige of spades, both wishing to fulfill their duties, yet still dropping their authorities in pursuit of the other's hands, leaving a royal flush collapsing in their wake. Destroying the balance with a mere touch of their lips and a handful of ginger and navy locks.

A small collection of all the Chaeya oneshots/WIPs I have hidden away in my notes. Some of them are mere ficlets, and others are entire pieces that are just a tad bit too short to post on their own. Hopefully some of these garner enough attention to motivate me to turn them into fics, but for right now I just want a place where I can put my works out there for people other than myself to enjoy.
Also for the Zhongluc fans: those chapters are "The One Where It's Zhongluc Instead" and "The Dragon & The Phoenix." :D
