“These videos…” Stratt paused to compose herself for a moment before continuing. “...These are Grace’s video logs. Watching them will be difficult, but I ask that you please watch them all before we continue.”
“Continue? You mean there’s more than these logs?”
She nods, but doesn’t elaborate. Only gesturing to the laptop and giving a soft “I’ll leave you to it” before she leaves him alone.
With seemingly nothing left to lose, Simon opens the laptop and presses play on the first file.

"You've got some soft hair." Chance remarks, a sheepish grin on his face. "I mean, it looks way better when its clean, but still. I like soft hair."
I grin darkly. "You mean when its not covered in my own blood?"
Chance's hand slides under my chin, tilting my face up to face his. Shocked by this sudden touch, my face burns.
"W-wh what are you doing?' I stammer. Chance says nothing for a moment. I could practically feel the heat radiating off his body.
"You're funny. Even when you're suffering from a head injury." Chance finally responds, his 1 million-TIX smile revealing rows of perfectly straight, white teeth.
"Pupil reflexes seem to be fine," He adds, "...Although they look a little dilated. You did say you hit your head on something, right?"
"Y-yeah..." I stammer. Words were a little difficult for some reason. I was still shaking- from shock or something else, I wasn't sure at this point.
--------
OR in other words, Chance saves Elliot from John Doe one round and then they make out and touch eachother. Oh and as well as being very wholesome they cuddle in Elliot's room and Chance comforts him. (So yeah. Fluff and SOME suggestive themes)

Summary
There’s a faint knock on the door behind Simon's set-up
“-m I interrupting?” The visitor asks softly, as he seems to walk closer to the setup. “Mm, no, you’re good”, Simon answers; somehow, his voice seems even softer.
“Okay, that’s good”, the voice hums, “I brought you food”.
Though the visitor seems determined to stay out of camera, a small sliver of tan skin and a cream colored, knitted sweater can be seen on the edge of the camera.
Simon’s eyes stay locked on the man, a soft “Thank you, Star” falling from his lips as if second nature. Like he hadn’t even thought about it. He probably hadn’t, because chat goes wild.
Or, Simon is a decently famous streamer. He keeps his personal life private, not revealing anything about his life or his relationship. His viewers don't even know he's married. At least they didn't until his husband interrupts stream to bring him food.

"Let me see your forehead real quick" Grace hums. He rolls the sleeve of his zipped up sweater up, stepping even closer to Simon. Ryland places his forearm onto Simon's forehead, letting it rest there for a moment. Simon nuzzles against his arm, leaning closer to his warmth.
"Si, you're warm." He says quietly, lowering his arm much to Simon's disappointment. "Think you're done for today, yeah?"
Or, despite being sick, Simon has stubbornly decided he can still stream. Grace doesn't agree.

` ` “Thanks for letting me stay,” he said quietly, words spoken into the space between heartbeat and breath. “This feels… nice. Like I didn’t even realize how much I needed to just stop.”
“You don’t have to say thanks,” Chance replied, their voice barely more than a whisper. “You’re safe here. I want you here.”
Elliot didn’t answer right away. He didn’t need to. The way his hand found Chance’s and laced their fingers together said everything he couldn’t,something soft and certain and filled with quiet trust. ` `... alternatively,

“Yeah. Nothing beats cuddles, if you ask me,” Grace said, trying to lighten the mood.
Simon’s frown only deepened. “I wouldn’t really know.”
Grace’s smile dropped. He fidgeted with his glasses, an idea already forming, but no. No, that’s a lot to ask. Too much. They’re barely friends. More like roommates of pure circumstance who mostly get along.
But what if…?
“Would you…” Grace started. Stopped. Tried again. “This is like, totally no pressure, and you can say no. But, uh, if you wanted to, we could, um—”
“Spit it out, man,” Simon said, not unkindly, if a little annoyed.
“Wouldyouwanttotrycuddlingwithme?”
Simon blinked. “What?”
Or... against all the odds, Simon finds himself in Ryland Grace's universe. This is how they find home.

Summary
The thought stayed with Simon for the rest of the afternoon.
Which was irritating.
Because it wasn't an important thought. The cooling pump was important.
The wiring behind the communications panel was important.
Making sure the Hail Mary didn't decide to fall apart around them was important.
Wondering why Ryland had stopped asking to braid his hair...
Was not.
And yet...
Every so often, the thought wandered back into his mind.Bookmarked by UrLocal_Axolotl
