Summary
Gojo is twenty, going through psychotherapy. He’s still trying to reconcile with his and Geto’s falling out, even after three years. His therapist starts him from ground zero, teaching Gojo how to recognize and process his emotions, much to Gojo’s dismay. Through these sessions, Gojo begins to realize what happened between him and Geto was a lot more than just a friendship. Working through his old memories sets Gojo forward to pick up sorcery again after two years of hiatus.
Meanwhile, Geto is attending public-access parenting classes as Nanako and Mimiko begin elementary school. There, Geto strikes up an unlikely friendship with a single mother. His new friend is unnaturally curious, causing Geto to entangle himself in a dangerous lie involving a “dead girlfriend” who bears a striking resemblance to his old best friend. As their friendship progresses, Geto learns that he may not hate non-sorcerers as much as he thought.
As the Gojo and Geto adjust to adulthood, they begin to allow others back into their lives— including themselves.
