Summary
A chain of unexpected events strands Pomni and Gummigoo. With no sign of immediate rescue, the two new friends set out to find the circus themselves, briefly stopping in Gummigoo’s supposedly non-existent village. The stay ends up longer than anticipated.
It's just one part of a world crammed full of bank heists, saloon brawls, marshmallow six-shooters and dodgy mine hideouts, toffee trains, candied ocean liners and the occasional vicious gumdropbear, all dripping with literal sugarcoating that keeps the family-unfriendly implications around a PG rating. Most of the time.
Pomni is tempted by the freedom to redefine herself and escape Caine’s presumed railroaded adventures. For Gummigoo, the map is painfully familiar yet absolutely alien, raising questions that he and Pomni might not be able to really answer. As time passes, the friends find the map, themselves, and their relationship changing for better and possibly worse.
Unable to summon Pomni back, Caine insists to the rest of the Circus that long-term entrapment in an adventure won’t cause lasting harm to either program or its participants. It’s soon apparent that even the A.I. ringmaster cannot anticipate the consequences hurtling towards them.

Summary
Accepting the chance to join Pomni and her crew at the Circus, Gummigoo couldn’t have anticipated the fallout her invitation would cause. Now without his one connection, the ex-bandit is trapped in a new digital hellscape, surrounded by complete strangers and guilt over the fate of his mates – and of Pomni’s fate, wondering if taking her offer was worth that cost. After all, he’s an NPC, not even remotely like the humans that he feels isolated from, never mind there’s always the chance that Caine will snap him away too.
But there’s almost no time to grieve or ponder these concerns – there’s adventure to be had, and Caine’s whipped a spooktacular adventure (with tailoring to what Zooble likes)! Gummigoo doesn’t get a choice to sit out, and finds himself in a house of horrors, complete with loosely related thematic parallels.
And yet, he might be able to connect with one person in the Circus. Perhaps, things might start becoming a bit brighter.

Summary
For all of the jaw-dropping spectacle that the Circus promised, working the register at Spudsy’s for a day was not what Gummigoo had in mind.
With Pomni a pile of confetti on the Tent's floor, he’s uncertain over his place in the Circus in regards to the other members and how they perceive him. In Gummigoo's head, it runs from forced acceptance, at worst it’s seething resentment. The threat of Caine’s employee evaluation hangs over him too, and perhaps fate will snap him away no matter what he does.
Between Gangle breathing down his neck for the slightest infraction, Ragatha’s intoxication, alleged nonslip shoes, terrible customers, and a spiteful ice cream machine, this open to close shift is going to suck hard for the ex-bandit. But he’ll try to persevere, to prove to himself and the others that Pomni’s unintentional sacrifice for the gummi gator was worth something.
He can do this!
And then the door opens, and it delivers a punch to his heart.

Summary
Gummigoo had wanted the chance to be somebody real. The monkey’s paw – or rather, the ringmaster’s hand – makes that wish a reality in the worst possible way.
In an effortless snap, Caine deletes Pomni from existence instead of Gummigoo. With his first (and perhaps only) real friend now reduced to colorful paper scraps, Gummigoo is alone in a new, unfamiliar space, with new, unfamiliar people, grieving both Pomni’s loss and the added guilt of leaving his NPC mates behind to an equally unknown, but probably horrible fate.
There’s no time to mourn – adventure beckons for all of Caine’s superstars, no matter how they protest or how deep in the throes of existentialist dread they are in. It’s not like Gummigoo can refuse – his cover is wafer-thin (as well as emotionally painful) and if the ringmaster finds out what he actually is…. Gummigoo would rather not experience that.
As he adventures and interacts with the humans at the Circus, perhaps he’ll be able to fulfill that dream, live and enjoy this artificial but real enough for Pomni’s sake. And for himself.

Summary
A chain of unexpected events accidentally strands Pomni and Gummigoo. With no sign of immediate rescue, the two new friends search for a way to the circus themselves, briefly stopping in Gummigoo’s supposedly non-existent village. The stay ends up running longer than anticipated.
It's a world crammed with bank heists, rowdy cities,saloon brawls, rival gangs, train robberies, and the occasional gumdropbear encounter. Candy Canyon Kingdom, despite its Fudge battering, is desperate to restore order to the map (under its direction, of course) at any cost, and doesn't take kindly to banditry.
While initially distraught over her seeming abandonment, Pomni begins to adapt in ways that she hadn't expected, taking it as a chance at redefining herself...at least within the confines of the map. For Gummigoo, it's hard for to reconcile his fake past and his new sentience. At least the two part-time bandits have each other.
As time passes on the map, the two new friends find the map, the relationship, and themselves changing, for better and possibly worse.
And the longer they stay, the more things begin to show signs of strain...

Summary
With one Artifact in their possession, the Traveling Circus follows Caine's clues to the location of the next. There are a lot of firsts for Pomni: first time sleeping under the stars in an Abstraction-infested world, first time traveling miles by foot only, and first time adventuring... without Gummigoo there to cheer her on.
As she begins to get to know the party better, one member continues to puzzle her: Jax avoids every and any interaction if it doesn't have to do with the quest. Following some guidance from Kinger, Pomni, as curious as ever, makes it her personal mission to find out more about this ranger.
Advice isn't the only thing Kinger gives her, either: it seems like he's familiar with whatever location they're headed to.

Summary
The circus has changed. Riddled with minigames and digital currency, it feels more hollow than ever. Pomni has changed too: the mild-mannered jester is now a seasoned fighter in her favorite mini game, a boxing beat-em-up called Fruit Punch.
A 2v2 with Ragatha for old time’s sake turns into a high-stakes game of virtual life or death when they're are pitted against Gummigoo and his crew.
Seizing the drama of the moment, Caine reveals that his newest update allows players to blow inordinate amounts of money on a slim chance of winning an NPC companion–which Pomni does immediately.
Unfortunately, the Gummigoo she gets is not the one she remembers, and he’s less than thrilled to be trapped in the tent with a cast of strangers. The pair reluctantly team up to win the Fruit Punch championship to get Pomni’s money back and get Gummigoo home, but she soon suspects that having an NPC with a subconscious connection to the circus’ code might not just help them beat the game.
He might be their key to finding The Exit.

The fourth day of Pomni's abandonment within the candy world has started, with still no signs of anyone coming for her. Recognizing that it will likely be a while before Caine does, she therefore decides it is time to get acclimated with Gummigoo's village and its residents. He himself is also curious to see what all has been created here with his own eyes, his memories continuing to be edited.
There is plenty to be discovered in Mint Point for them. From places of interest to colorful NPCs, there appears to be a lot going on there despite its small size and its recovery from a recent plague. With the digital aspects of this place hanging over the two, though, and concerns about what all is being changed about the map... the question is if they can keep cool heads, or will gain new existential problems...
