Summary
After the events of the Immortal Alliance Conference, Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge find themselves suddenly dependent on one another for survival. In order to return to their beloved Shen Qingqiu, they’ll have to face down innumerable monsters, Luo Binghe’s unstable demonic powers, and their own tangled feelings.
Meanwhile, all Shen Qingqiu wants is to be left alone. Unfortunately, even with the System in hibernation he can’t seem to escape the demands of the plot. He finds himself tasked with sorting out the aftermath of the Conference, investigating a missing person case, and taking a trip to visit Liu Qingge’s family. Through it all, the narrative continues to deviate further and further from the original story Shen Qingqiu had read, ultimately leading to a discovery that could shed light on the past and bring long-buried secrets to the surface.

Coming to the realization he can't belong to a God that isn't the one he desires, Childe has the idea of making an offering to the former God of Contracts in hopes of being accepted. The offering in question being the lives of some pesky people and his own virgin body to sweeten the deal.
Zhongli, on the other hand, is partially disturbed by the madman's sacrificial offerings, but not enough to abstain from taking what was offered alongside them. The wisdom of six thousand years means nothing when ignored in favor of irresistible temptation.
Pure love is a violent thing, indeed. Or at least it is for them.

Bookmarker's Notes
By far one of the greatest pieces of media I've ever read, fanfiction or otherwise. As a victim of SA, I've never felt more seen and represented by any other story, and it masterfully portrays these amazing characters in a way that's complex, realistic, and yet wholly unique. I come back to read it every few months, and each time is a joy. To the author- thank you for writing this. I'm thankful for its existence every day.
