Sei mesi fa, la famosa serie tv space opera Lost Galaxy ha fatto l’impensabile: ha reso canonica la controversa ship nemica MattKira. Questo sarebbe già abbastanza brutto di per sé, ma poi la famosa anti blogger Rey trova una fanfiction MattKira rebloggata sulla sua dashboard.
La sua soluzione? Odiarla e iniziare a leggerla solo per poi pubblicare commenti su quanto sia brutta sul suo blog.
C’è solo un problema.
La fic è, in realtà, abbastanza buona.

Two Kingdoms are at war.
The Caelum Empire and The Kingdom of Gehenna.The two have been at a stalemate for centuries, but after a diplomatic approach by Princess Charlotte Morningstar offering her hand in marriage toward Princess Emilia Dues, the two kingdoms have at last reached a reluctant compromise.
However, unrest lies between the two societies. Years of torment through trade embargoes, famines, and plagues have left the civilians and military members uneasy. Queen Sera Dues’ nephew, General Adam Dues, plots against the marriage and intends on invading the Kingdom of Gehenna against the Queen’s orders on the day of the wedding.
His loyal lieutenant, Lute Angelus, works with him to orchestrate the plot. But things go off the wall when a fellow soldier of Adam betrays the Caelum Empire by killing the rest of Adam’s top soldiers and defects to inform King Lucifer of the scheme – unaware that it did not come from Sera’s order. Adam puts this blame onto Lute, but with them stranded in the middle of the Kingdom of Gehenna, the two are forced to get along in order to survive.

The coronation of Viserys sparked controversy across the Realm. At the urging of his Dornish Queen, the young King declared his firstborn daughter, Princess Alaeyne Targaryen, "The Sunrise Princess," his named heir.
There was outrage, of course. But the Realm built by the Old King Jaehaerys was strong and resilient. One by one, the Lords of the Realm came to King's Landing to bend the knee and swear obeisance to King Viserys and the Princess of Dragonstone.
It seemed that a woman would rule the Seven Kingdoms for the first time in its history.
However, quiet words - not spoken, but whispered - began to spread throughout the realm. They held no real importance by the time of Viserys' coronation or for many years thereafter. But, by the end of Viserys' life, they set the Realm asunder in a Dance of Dragons.
If a woman is to rule the Realm, then let it be the daughter of Aemma Arryn, the "Bastard of the Vale," more Targaryen than the "Sunrise Princess" in everything but name.
