Carl tried to run down the riverbank, but Ezekiel and Daryl grabbed him by his shoulders, holding him back, their expressions grim as they understood what Rick was about to do.
Blood bubbled out of the hole in his gut, running down his knuckles. He was out of time. It had to be now. He closed one eye and aimed his gun at the dynamite.
