Summary
The lamb left The One Who Waits... waiting.
When a defeated Narinder refuses to join the lamb's cult and become their follower, they leave him trapped in the indoctrination circle while they try to find a way to change his mind. Eventually though, the new god is forced to turn to less than moral means of ensuring the ex-deity's cooperation, with the conviction that they are doing the right thing to protect him from the dangerous world around them. Though this only serves to fuel Narinder's hatred for them and creating an air of tension and distrust between them as he continues to yearn for the freedom he has been waiting so long for.
At the same time, the lamb is changing, as their ideals of protecting all and never hurting anyone start slipping away as they feel like are forced into making immoral decisions for what they believe is the greater good. The lamb had never sacrificed a follower before, but there are doors that need opening, and a very hungry fox. How far will their newfound godly powers and responsibilities corrupt them? Can anyone stop them before they become just like those who they once sought to defeat?
