Shang Qinghua's Daemon swapped with that of his Soulmate. However unbeknownst to Shang Qinghua, he didn't have just a single Soulmate. He had two. So close yet so far, the three will do anything to find their missing half. Though how will they react upon finding out that instead of halves, they're looking for thirds?

If Shang Qinghua tilted his head and squinted, Shizun was probably the closest thing he had to a father figure. This was a pretty fucking sad state of affairs, considering Shang Qinghua hadn't been promoted until he was -- what? How old was he? Eighteen? Nineteen? Twenty, twenty-one, who even cared?
The point was that Shizun hadn't paid Shang Qinghua any individualized attention until he'd been, at the very least, a core disciple, and at that point, Shang Qinghua was pretty damn grown. When you were grown, you didn't need a father figure. When you were an adult, you outgrew fathers. You had to; you didn't have a choice. You turned eighteen and then your dad gave up the illusion that he ever wanted you to begin with. If you still needed a dad at that point, then you were pretty screwed, weren't you?
