Summary
Taako and Lup have devised a plan to get back at their shitty family for the way they had treated them as children, as well as put an end to the incoming letters now that the twins have gained a little bit of notoriety. They're going to go back home for Candlenights, and it's going to be the worst Candlenights anyone there has ever had.
Lup's bringing Barry, because nothing's better than showing up with a respectable looking dude only for said dude to start pulling out the formaldehyde pig brains. Taako needs something like that too.
So, why not ask the cute guy in his drama class who does bad accents when he gets nervous if he's free over break?

He was out of the mirror world! He was on the train, free to be his own person! To do what he wanted to do for a change, no longer stuck simply reflecting his prime. He could make his own decisions, be whoever he wanted to be. There was just one problem.

Everything had a place. That was what she'd been taught all her life.
Everything except for her, of course.
So really, she was lucky to be where she was. That someone had bothered to clear out enough space for her to exist in safety. Even if it was alone, and suffocating, and controlling. She was alive after all, and as long as she was smart and played her cards right, maybe one day she could prove that there was a place for her. That she could take care of herself, and she wouldn't have to feel so trapped anymore.
Maybe she could even have a name one day.
First things first though, she really needed to untangle her hair from this fence before someone came by and saw.

It happened in an instant. One minute she was running from the flecs, three weeks of freedom under her belt. The next? A portal was opening up in front of her and she fell through it before she could process what was happening. The train must've seen her as still a part of Tulip, and when she got her exit it needed her gone too. She was free, truly and suddenly.
She was alone, but that didn't matter. She could survive. She would build a life out here, where no one could bother her. So what if she had no idea what she was doing? If she didn't even have a name yet. She was going to figure this out, and she was going to do it alone.

They say a ghost moved into the woods by the lake. At night you can see its shimmering form moving through the trees. Jesse doesn't believe in ghosts, but it's a fun enough idea to talk about. At least until his friends decide they need to prove whether or not it really exists, that he should be the one to stay out in the woods all night to try and spot it.It should be fine though. Surely there wasn't anything actually out there, it was probably all just some big prank. He doubted he'd find anything at all. Right?

It was pretty normal, as far as life as a reflection went. At some point when a prime looked into the mirror, instead of their reflection staring back at them, it would be someone else's. Their soulmate's.
Or at least, that was how it was supposed to work.
But Tulip already had her soulmate, so there was no reason for them to be here right now. It didn't make any sense. It made even less sense that this Jesse guy's reflection wasn't getting through to Tulip either. That didn't stop him from pretending that she could hear him. It didn't stop MT from pretending they were really friends. It was only ever supposed to be pretend though.
They definitely weren't supposed to ever meet him in person.
