Wednesday learns the only way to find Enid alive is with the help of a Hyde. After connecting with a rehabilitation Hyde community, Wednesday crosses paths with Isadora Capri, where she learns that Tyler Galpin had been living with her to rehabilitate himself. Tyler is forced to help Wednesday on her quest to find Enid, despite both their claims of hatred of one another. Their hatred for one another may just be a cover-up for something else the two black hearted souls feel.

When it becomes clear an old Addams Family curse it to blame, Wednesday must search for answers in some of the most unlikely of places, such as asking her mother for help and becoming friends with a cupid outcast, all while battling with these strong feelings that seem to be affecting her psychic abilities. As it turns out, Wednesday may not be the independent young woman she was so sure of, and falling in love absolutely does not make her weak. It may actually strengthen her in more ways than one.

"Because I burn for you, Wednesday!" his words cracked like a whip, his hurtful glare burning holes on her maybe not-so-cold heart. "Because even though I'm sure you could rip this son of a bitch in a thousand pieces by yourself, I can't stand the possibility to lose you, not like I lost her."
And she just standed there. Not knowing what to do with his confession, nor with herself. Tyler was scared of losing her. Tyler burned for her.
The worst part? Maybe she burned for him, too. And that realization scared the hell out of her.
