Logan had issues. A lot of them and he was aware of that. He just didn’t really care anymore, the way Miss Mary Puppins didn’t seem to care about a lot either. She was free spirited and happy, despite what the world said she should be. It was surprising to find her owner was almost the exact same way. Wade just happened to be the human variety… and a hell of a lot worse in all the best ways.

“Yeah Omega, I’ll be nice to you.” Wade swallowed the roar of ‘claim’ in his soul and reached for the Omega’s hand, “Sweet pretty thing, baby boy, will you c’mere?”
“Say it again.” The Omega curled into the Alpha’s arms with a quiet purr. “Please?”
Wade pressed close and rumbled, “Baby boy… I’ve got you.”

Summary
In a Stryker-ruled world where mutants are enslaved by humanity, either treated (or, more accurately, mistreated) as pets in homes or used for hard labor in factories and farms, Wade tries not to think too hard. He has nothing personal against mutants, throws up in his mouth a little at the way he sees them treated — but it is what it is. He's just one man, he can't change the world. All he can do is resolve to never own a mutant himself.
Until the fire. Until he loses every good thing he ever had, until the loneliness sets in and the thought of having someone who can't leave him starts to sound like siren-song.
Then his resolve crumbles.
Then he finds himself sitting in the front row of a mutant auction.
