Summary
Souls from the Ever After return to the Ever After- an endless cycle. Souls from those on Remnant however, those do not. But the gods aren't truly omnipotent, and the laws they dictated are just that... laws that can, and sometimes should, be broken. No one knows that better than the Blacksmith in the tree herself.
Pyrrha Nikos spent her final moments fighting for those she loved. For the life she loved. She died, and the story of those on Remnant went on, sadly, without her.
But the Ever After has other plans, and Pyrrha is back.

Summary

Together, as the Knight and Princess, they must bring a happy ending to the fairytale—lest they be trapped within a tragedy forever.

Chell and Wheatley were traveling around, trying to escape Aperture together, but unfortunately they fell down a deep pit, only saved by Chell’s Long Fall Boots. Now the two of them were traveling through old Aperture, trying to find their way out back to the new facility, and hopefully, outside entirely.

Here are some Portal drabbles from the depths of my mind! Some are extensions of my other Portal book, "Return to Her," and others are simply sweet moments I've conjured over the years that stray from plot. Nevertheless, there will be angst! There will be fluff! Enjoy!

"Why did you come back? Why did you reach for me?"
Chell's eyes flickered down to her crossed arms. He hated the hesitation, the pause that would run through that wondrous mind before she would comfort him.
"Chell?"
"Chell, please..." Wheatley's voice cracked, and he closed his eyes to protect himself from further emotional harm. She never did give a real answer to his questions, not even after years and years of begging and nagging. Was it too much to ask? Maybe too hard a question for their damaged psyches?
Her hand fell gently on his shoulder, the back of her knuckles brushing away the tears. It only made him sob harder.
"Wheatley," she whispered in that knowing, exasperated way. "It doesn't matter anymore. I love you," she joined him on the cold tile, her head falling unto the crook of his neck.
"Isn't that enough?"
