Summary
On Valentine’s Day, CatNap finally gathers the courage to confess his long-hidden feelings to DogDay. He spends the entire morning overthinking every possible outcome, clutching a small gift and rehearsing the words in his head.
But before CatNap can speak, another Critter suddenly confesses to DogDay first. DogDay doesn’t immediately accept or reject the confession—he just says he needs time to think. From CatNap’s perspective, that hesitation feels like quiet acceptance.
Heartbroken and embarrassed, CatNap leaves before anyone notices how upset he is.
Later that afternoon, he ends up alone by the lake on campus, crying quietly and convinced that he was foolish to believe DogDay could ever feel the same.
That’s when a stranger approaches him.
A grey paw gently rests on his shoulder.
When CatNap looks up, he meets the crimson eyes of a wolf named Ollie—a Critter who seems surprisingly kind and understanding.And CatNap doesn’t realize that this meeting will change everything.

Created under Governor Poppy’s Delight and Secure Initiative (DASI), VISAGE Corp. aimed to create the perfect team of super powered critters that could take on the rising number of powerful villains that were terrorizing the good people of Critter Haven.
And it worked…a little too well.
Crime had plummeted and the people were happy.
This was a good thing…right?
Dogday knows he should think so, but now he finds himself bored and desperate for something to do. His friends suggest that he get a day job, much to his dismay. He couldn't just leave the people of Critter Haven unprotected, could he? What if something happened while he was away? However, his friends weren't giving him much of a choice and Dogday was never one that could turn down an earnest request.
However, it's not long before a new threat emerges, led by an eccentric villain that goes by the alias: Chimera. An opponent unlike anything Dogday had ever faced before.
And strangely enough, this new foe seems oddly...familiar.

Angel then has to deal with emotional trauma, relationships, anger issues and most importantly, making sure The Hour Of Joy never happens, what could go wrong?

DogDay struggled to protect his kitty.
One day the monster behind The Hour of Joy summoned him.
The next DogDay was serving The Prototype.
And despite everything he's been forced to do for his “god”.
He'll keep doing it. He'll sacrifice anything.
To make sure his CatNap is happy.
_________Or: DogDay returns home after a long day of (forcibly) serving the Prototype and finds his only reason left to live eagerly waiting for him.
