Quackity finds Wilbur Soot on a windy day in the forest, slumped over the border, bleeding profusely. Well, that’s a polite way of putting it. A crueller way to put it would be this: Quackity finds Wilbur Soot crumpled in on himself at the border between their claims, hand clutched to a shoulder, bloodsoaked, pale with sweat, eyes knit tightly closed and a tiny, furious furrow to his brow. Quackity finds Wilbur Soot at the border, and doesn’t really give a damn.
“Let me help,” he blurts, nonsensical, sudden, honest.Wilbur isn't being as careful as he should with that arm injury. There's really no reason it should be Quackity's problem, but here they are.

The road seems to narrow. The trees press closer.

And Quackity hears the voice of a dead man. Are you just going to run again?
(On a roadtrip to see his brother for the first time in four years, Quackity gets lost in the space between spaces. Luckily he’s got his boyfriend riding shotgun, and also this cute gas station attendant, who knows much less and much more than he should.)
