Summary
It’s November 1983 and Will Byers has disappeared. Mike, Dustin, and Lucas met Eleven during their search for Will, but she’s not the only person that escaped from the lab with supernatural abilities.
Soon after her escape, 004 aka Luna, found her way out too. Luna is smaller and not as strong as Eleven, but she has elemental powers as well.
Something about Will is familiar to these girls, but they’re not sure what. They want to help find and rescue him, even though they haven’t met.
This version follows a lot of what’s canon for season one, but adds in the character of Luna, a lab worker named Zack that was kind to the girls and worked on an escape plan, Joyce and Hopper’s search for Will, and Will’s time in the Upside Down and how he’s staying alive while searching for a way to contact his family and friends, and find a way out.

“Adam, you’re going to miss the fireworks!” Adam’s friend yelled to him as he walked away sadly. “Adam!” Adam wanted to see the fireworks, and he wanted to spend time with his friends, but he couldn’t control his body anymore. A supernatural creature known as the Mind Flayer had taken control of his body, his free will, and soon, his life.
Adam is a real character, shown as one of the flayed that got melted into the Mind Flayer, but what if Hopper, Joyce, and Murray found him and prevented his death and recruited Will to help since he’s been through it before? What if he and Will became friends? What about something more?

After Mike goes to California to see Will and El, Will tells Mike how he feels about the fact that Mike only wrote letters and reached out to El after the move and ignored him, but things are not as they seem, and it's not just because El lied about her "friendship" with Angela.

Summary
A few months have passed since the conclusion of I, Will Byers, Am Not A Victim. It is April of 1985. I suggest reading that if you first if you haven't done so already, but this will work as a stand alone story as well. https://archiveofourown.org/works/25131688/chapters/60891046
This is after that story but before the events of season 3. This will include some elements of the third season, but will not be a season 3 rewrite. Mike and Will are doing well adjusting to normal life after all the insanity they had been through for the last couple of years. All that changes when Nancy goes missing and Mike learns a little more than he wants to know about Will's past trauma and it's up to Will, El, and the others to bring him back to his old self and close the gate before it's too late.
This story will switch back and forth between Mike and Will's perspectives.

When Vecna abducts Mike as a way to draw out Will, Will formulates a plan to save Mike, whatever it takes. But his plans are quickly foiled when Joyce finds him, and mother and son share a sentimental heart to heart.

Summary
They boys have reached a crossroads in their lives where they must decide whether to move on and leave childish things behind. With his senior year starting soon, everything all comes down on Rocky at once, making the normal pressures of life almost unbearable. When Jack Harding is released from prison Rocky, Colt, and Tum-Tum are initially wary. Soon they learn they aren't Harding's target rather than the whole city of Los Angeles. A revenge plan that's been in the process for years. The boys know they have to do something to save the city, but they may not be able to come out on top this time.
