Heart pounding fearfully in her chest, her brows furrow as she stares at him blankly. "You don’t accept what?"
"Your apology," he says. His gaze drops to her bare legs before he peers up at her again, his lips in a serious line. "I don’t accept your apology for daggering me. It was cruel and it ruined one of my favourite suits."
Arching her brow, Elena looks at him in amusement. "You’re kidding."

Once you're involved with the Mikaelsons, you can never walk away.
An adventure on the Other Side left Cora Blackburn vulnerable to influence in ways that she hadn't predicted, ways that might've endangered the people that she loved. Not overly inclined to test the new magic spelled to protect her from that influence and on a path to redemption through family, Cora stays out of New Orleans and away from Elijah, the man that she loves.
