Summary
Charlie Spring lives in NYC and has just earned a B.F.A., which means that he now works an office job as he tries to pursue a career in the arts. His friends/coworkers are in the same boat, all trying to carve out a living while pursuing their dreams. Things are calm until Charlie starts a secret relationship with his direct supervisor Ben. Then life starts to feel a bit more complicated. Though his friends are getting suspicious, Charlie agrees with Ben that telling everyone could risk them both their jobs (not to mention their credibility). But things with Ben are starting to affect Charlie's confidence, and he begins to wonder if he isn't just avoiding sharing because he's ashamed of the situation he's found himself in.
Enter Nick Nelson, a new office hire. Nick has been out of undergrad for a year, and he still has no idea what to do with himself. But living in NYC is expensive, so he's bouncing around office jobs to support himself while he tries to figure out his next step. His latest job isn't particularly exciting, but it's a paycheck, and he's always loved getting to know people. But as he gets closer to his new friends, he starts to realize that he may not know himself as well as he thinks he does.

Summary
It was Charlie Primavera’s fourteenth birthday when everything crumbled to pieces. He was supposed to be at the best point of his entire life, but anyone who said that was completely delusional and he hated them already. He lost his parents to an accident, and his happy life in Almeria, Spain, had to be upheld as he and his sister, Victoria, had to move to live with their Aunt Wendy in England.
With new last names, new lives and an entire new language to master, the Primavera (Or now, Spring) Siblings have to learn how live life without their parents.
Charlie has to go to Truham Grammar and start his new life, and he meets some people he'll keep forever and some people he wishes he didn't meet at all.

“A loud thud catches Nick’s attention from the back of the room, near the couches delimiting the children’s corner from the romance section. There, a lanky man is standing with two thick books at his feet, having by all appearances dropped them just now. If Nick hadn’t looked at his picture ten times a day for an entire fortnight, he could have been convinced that it wasn’t Charlie Spring in front of him. But by now, he knows these curls, as thick and as dark as leather, better than he knows his own name. Yet it can’t be him, right?”
Charlie Spring is a successful children’s book author. Nick Nelson is a primary school teacher. Charlie’s stories celebrate differences and acceptance, which makes them both kids’ and teacher’s favourites in Nick’s classroom. Hence, whenever his class takes a trip to the local library, he’s always roped into reading "The Spring Tales". What happens when Charlie shows up to one of his readings and their friends assume they’re already dating?

Luckily the neighborhood has a way of bringing people together, and local meddling gays Tara and (especially) Darcy are there to help.
This might be dark in places so watch the tags and read with care. But sometimes things aren't as dark as they seem :)
