"Ah?" Wei Ying exclaims, surprised. "What rules?? I'm just doing research for a project."
"Dress modestly," Lan Zhan intones. "Do not distract fellow students from their studies."
"Oh, come on, Lan Zhan," she says with a little laugh. "This is no big deal. Lots of other girls dress like this. And who am I distracting, anyway? There's no one here."
Lan Zhan gives her a meaningful look, his gaze flicking between the two of them.
Her eyes widen, and her lips part on a surprised inhale. "You?" she asks.
"Rule breaking must be punished," he says in answer.
