Summary
John “Soap” MacTavish is frozen under the weight of a singular glowing golden eye. Its vertical pupil dilates and contracts and Soap swears he can feel the physical weight of a touch skimming over his body as it trails up and down him, assessing. The touch feels as if a singular sharp claw is being dragged over his skin, holding him in place with the silent threat of evisceration should he so much as breathe.
So he doesn’t breathe, he doesn’t move, he can’t even bring himself to look away from that eye as he’s studied; as his fate is decided by the sleek, inky black creature standing just a few feet in front of him.
Soap’s skin feels as if it’s burning under the weight of that stare, but he’s finally able to take a breath in. He lets it out through his nose slowly, quietly, and is careful not to move as he tries to convince his body he isn’t in danger.
But he isn’t convinced. . . isn’t even close, and as he’s able to finally tear his gaze away from the one eye that he can see, he becomes almost sure that he is in danger.

Two seconds to think about how much he loves to see that—how much more like a person it makes him feel, the joy in Kurt’s eyes when he sees Logan. Then the smile slips from his face, and Logan sees the moment that his hold on the children starts to fade.
Shit.
He hears two panicked screams, and Logan’s at Kurt’s side before he even realizes he’s moving. There are two kids in his arms, dots of blood on the pavement underneath from his knuckles as his skin knits itself together again. Kurt hits the ground with a sick thud that he has to pretend he doesn’t hear.

Summary
What if Robert was forced to take a leave after his concussion received at the bar fight? Robert finds himself at Flambae's home and in his care while he recovers. During this confusing situation, Flambae reveals where his feelings for Robert and Mecha Man clash. With a jumbled memory of this moment, however, Robert finds himself confused by Flambae's actions since.
I was mildly annoyed by Robert having zero recovery time after a concussion. I couldn't even read when I had mine so I needed to fix that. And what better fix it than my Dispatch OTP? Slightly stretched timeline to give them more bonding moments, but the story progresses mostly how the game does. No one gets cut from the Z Team, and no dogs are threatened by Shroud. Why? Because I can.

Wind slammed them from all sides, roaring through the bare trees and covering Soap's footsteps as quickly as he made them. Claw-like branches grabbed at him and Ghost, but he didn't dare stop, no matter how hard they tried to force him back.
Stopping meant death.
And Soap wasn't about to let the man he loved freeze and be left forgotten in no-man's-land.

Summary
Being from two completely different walks of life, it was only a matter of time before a simple misunderstanding passed between Viktor and Jayce. It all started with Jayce bringing Viktor a meal; a clear courting gesture in Zaun, but in Piltover, must be a simple gift between friends. If it was only one time, Viktor could brush it off as coincidence, but the gestures continue and Viktor can’t bring himself to explain the meaning to Jayce, too caught up in how each and every one makes him feel warm inside. How can he tell Jayce these gestures in Zaun are saved for people you are in love with when he can’t stop hoping that Jayce somehow already knows? Somehow, Viktor needs to find the bravery to explain it all to Jayce, or continue silently pining.
OR
Five times Jayce does a Zaunite Courting Gesture without knowing and the one time he does it on purpose.
