There are five love languages: Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. Every couple has a different way of expressing their love. The soft fic I wanted for myself with the horrible one-sentence synopsis for each chapter.

Ch 4: Levyaku - Lev is a child and Yaku is frozen.
Ch 5: Bokuaka - Akaashi can't adult and Bokuto for some reason can.

“What the fuck are you doing, Musa?” Riven asks sharply. “I thought you were supposed to be on a stupid date tonight.”
Musa bursts into a melodious peal of laughter thick with irony and disillusionment that makes Riven arch an eyebrow. “Well, that makes two of us, Riven,” she retorts while toying with a shot glass between her fingers. “Now, if you don’t mind, my new plans for the evening are getting shitfaced to forget about that outraging humiliation. Feel free to join or not, but I’m not going anywhere else.”
Or:
Musa gets stood up on a date and then winds up in the same bar as Riven and his friends. The night progressively takes an unexpected turn that neither the mind fairy nor the specialist could’ve possibly anticipated.

“You should know better than to talk to me while I’m playing a game,” Kenma pouted.
Kuroo stared at him incredulously. “If I didn’t talk to you while you’re gaming, I’d never get to talk to you at all. Or talk at you, apparently.” He sighed. “So yeah. I needed a boyfriend. Well, a fake boyfriend. Sawamura said he’d do it. I’m still kinda blown away by that but if he turned me down I don’t know who else I would’ve asked.”
Kenma blinked at him for a moment, using every fiber of his being to resist throwing the controller at his stupid rooster head. But that really wouldn’t be fair to the controller.

It wasn’t that he’d never thought about it. Of course he fucking had. Musa was hot, and he had two functioning eyes, and he could tolerate talking to her for more than five minutes, which was more than he could say for almost every other idiot in the school.
But for the longest time, there had been Bea ensnaring most of his attentions, and Musa had been sickeningly love struck, walking hand in hand with Harvey Junior for months. At best, she was a mind fairy, way too complicated for him to deal with, and she didn’t put up with his shit anyway. Unavailable in all the ways that held his interest.
Then suddenly she was something broken into pieces at his feet and for fuck’s sake, if he didn’t feel a little too responsible for keeping that from happening again.
And now she was… Something.

The man briefly looks around – no doubt searching for him – before locking his gaze on the otter. “Hello there, my good sir,” he greets, hands on his knees to reach Neuvillette’s height, “Would you happen to know Monsieur Neuvillette's whereabouts?”
Oh, precious Duke; otters cannot speak human language.
Alternatively, as translated by his otterly ludicrous vocal chords: “Kyu.”
Neuvillette humbly wishes upon a star for a single day of peace. He gets taken in by Duke Wriothesley as an otter instead.
