Okuyasu already knew he looked like an idiot, so his pride was well out the window. He didn’t even care who these people were, at this point he wasn’t above begging for help to get himself out. God, the alternative was almost unbearable to think about: his dumb corpse would become another horrible Morioh-Cho landmark--like Angelo’s rock-- stuck ass end out of a warehouse wall for tourists to marvel at for generations to come. Yeah, he’d definitely rather beg.
“H-hey!” He hollered, hoping his voice carried through the other side of the wall. “Uh… ‘M a little stuck. Can you please pull me out?”

He had always been fine to let folk believe what they wanted about him, encouraged it, maybe even. He bathed and dressed and kept himself well as much because he knew he was worth looking at as because it kept people from examining his character, intimidated them out of speaking to him. Folks made their assumptions and went on their way and he liked that just fine. But then, Javier knows, he has a certain irresistibility to him.

Control is something that Javier does not easily relinquish, but he trusts Dutch, even if he feels he’s being played the fool here. When Javier takes a lover he makes all the decisions. That isn’t to say he’s a selfish partner-- far from it -- but rather those who have the privilege of being with him are told where to touch him and when and how.

“So this is what you were trying to hide from me? You, what -- accidentally Boys From Brazil’d yourself?”
Armand turns to look at him. He’s got that cute little frown line between his eyebrows, the one he gets when he’s so distracted trying to figure something out that he forgets to care about how his face looks.
“You are not taking this the way I anticipated.”

"Accidental novelist Daniel Molloy is ready to do just about anything to avoid writing a sequel to the hit pulp vampire romance he churned out while in the throes of his addiction. Lucky for him that the luxury apartment building he's just moved into is full of beautiful and strange characters to keep him busy. His neighbor, for example; the handsome Louis who feels uneasy about the old building's acoustics and often senses that he is being watched. Louis' ex, Lestat, with his prince-like charm and sweeping romantic gestures that almost make up for his careless missteps. Did we mention that he is French? And he isn't the only one.
