When I arrived in Teyvat, it was nothing like you know it now.
I ended up here through a portal dragged along by a soldier who wanted to kill me. And I soon realized that I was not at home or anywhere else I knew. Here magic existed, but trust was a luxury few could afford. Where there could have been life, friendship and kindness there was corruption, crime and the darkest side of humanity.
And in an attempt to find my way home I find myself embroiled in something much bigger than myself, traveling through different countries and meeting people and creatures that make me doubt if I will be able to return home in the first place.

Kouta thought that he’d known everything about Darkwick.
They were tricksters and safety all in one, pulling the strings behind just about every incident about anomalies no matter how small. They only helped themselves and would use anyone they could to assure it stayed that way, all while preaching that they wanted to help those in tight spots caused by anomalies. They lied to those people, using them as puppets to take whatever they wanted.
But they were one of the biggest powers amongst the supernatural world, and that, in the end, made them safe. Safe enough he thought it might be worth it to put some level of trust into their faculty, if nothing else.
Turns out, even he hadn’t learned everything.
He really should have known better.

Summary
I wanted a change. I thought that using the last of my savings to go on a trip to Japan would give me clarity. And maybe change the direction of my life for the better.
But after a few days of wandering around I realized a change of scenery isn’t going to change anything.
Who would’ve guessed?
I was walking a trail through the forest one evening and came across an abandoned shrine. I found a fox statue face down in the dirt. I picked it up and cleaned it off.
