A sleek silver watch attached to a similarly silver chain. An heirloom belonging to an esteemed family overseas before mysteriously ending up in Japan, supposedly bought by the first victim from a shady stand at a night market.
According to the case file, whoever supposedly held the watch could vanish in either the span of a week or just within a day.
Tohma took charge of overlooking its containment in Frostheim's vault.

But man, did he regret it.

Ever since they first met, Narumi (The inspector), has had a big fat crush on Shohei Haizono. Sorry, she meant Sho. He hates when you call him Shohei. And she thought he kinda hated her at first, too. But now that she helps with the food truck, he seems to like having her around… She hopes. Haku Kusanagi *definitely* likes having her around, but all that flirting has to be a joke, right? These ghouls are so hard to read. Maybe one day she’ll figure them out, or they’ll all finally stop underestimating each other’s feelings.
This started as a one shot but then I just kept writing. Will probably come out as a series of one shots/somewhat disconnected fluffy tidbits with occasional smut. (I will likely separate the explicit writing into its own chapters so it can be more easily found and/or skipped). Btw, Narumi is just my name for the MC, I don't personally like using MC or Y/N when writing, but feel free to mentally fill in a different name instead of Narumi.
Anyway this is my first fic in like 15 years and my first romance/smut so be nice. Updates will probably be very slow, sorry.

The moods range from absolutely nothing to brooding to full-blown psychotic. I’m not much better, honestly. I peeked inside, and now I can’t get out. I just wonder how much further I’ll descend.
