Summary
Months after the Prentiss attack, Martin Blackwood is having a bad day.
Relationships among his coworkers have fallen apart, their boss is stalking them, and no one can quite shake the feeling that danger is still close by. Martin's doing his best to hold everyone together, but tea and sympathy aren't working like they used to. The sole bright spot is that it's much easier to have a crush on Jon now that he's decided Martin isn't a murderer. Mostly, though, Martin's just glad to make it through the day...
...until he wakes up and has to live the same bad day all over again.
Martin finds himself caught in a loop, reliving the 19th November over and over again, struggling to understand why this is happening and what he has to do to get out. Any tighter and the glass may shatter, but Luo Binghe says nothing. In his other hand is a slip of paper, where "instructions for use" are written in the apothecary's nervous scrawl.
Luo Binghe sips his tea. "Shizun doesn't have to do anything he doesn't wish to."
"We would only do what needs to be done?" Shen Qingqiu asks. Something on his face looks guilty, like he can't quite believe that he's considering this at all.
"We would only take care of him, Shizun," Luo Binghe says gently. "Give him exactly what he needs. The pampering he deserves and won't allow."

Fast friends, the human prince and dragon drew close enough to capture the attention of a dark force in Xian Le, leading to their separation. Heartbroken without his San Lang, Xie Lian nurtures grief and kindness in his heart, vowing to avenge his friend's death.
Nearly eight years later, no one is prepared for when High King Hua Cheng sends a delegation to Xian Le from the newly-formed Ghost Kingdom, least of all Xie Lian.
He figures out what to do quickly enough, though.
