Surprised, the blonde looks to the side, taking a moment to consider Hitoshi’s words. It takes longer than he would have liked, but eventually the guy turns back to him with a wide smile, and oh. Hitoshi just made the biggest mistake of his life, didn't he?

Hitoshi Shinsou works as a barista at 'Cozy Cafe,' tired of taking over night shifts until one night, he's graced by the presence of a gorgeous blonde who comes in ten minutes before they close and places the most absurd order he's come to hear of. Chaos unfolds when Hitoshi grows concerned for the blonde and gets roped into a week of events he never would have thought he'd be a part of.

Okay” the blond haired boy looked straight at the camera and offered a sheepish smile “ so…for the last…no for as long as I could the worlds going to shit, people don’t really give a crap about it either, so um I’ve made my own dooms day clock…I’m giving myself roughly one hundred days…if it gets better…well I don’t know but uh…one hundred days to really see if it’s worth it to stick around, every morning I tell myself, well…just wake up and you will feel better tomorrow, I just don’t…I’ve decided to make um…a video diary like thing…I was never good at weighting notes but everyone tells me I can’t shut up so uh…this was going to be easier, I have to get to bed …wish me luck” he says before turning the camera off.

it was that fateful day in march (katsuki still remembered the exact time he got the call— march 11th at nearly 2pm, right in between his patrol shifts. it had been raining that day). denki had never removed katsuki from his emergency contact list and when katsuki saw him, looking the way he did, impossibly young and lifeless, he had thrown up in the hospital bathroom.

Then he decides that he wants to go to UA and train to become a hero!
Will he keep his new classmates from finding out about his extracurricular activities?
Will he avoid having a mental breakdown?
I guess we'll just have to find out. (The answer is clearly no)

Denki regrets maintaining eye contact, but, also, he doesn’t because damn, Hitoshi has pretty eyes – and focus, Denki, focus! “I’m sorry,” Hitoshi starts, quietly, almost threateningly, and tilts his head. “Would you like to repeat that? People think we’re what?”
“Pining,” Denki bursts out, almost too loud in the hospital gardens, and then he hunches forward and continues much more quietly, but no less heatedly: “They think we’re,” he swallows and finishes, almost lamely, “pining.”
Hitoshi says nothing. Waits.
“They have a betting pool,” Denki practically wails.
(or: the entire hospital staff has a betting pool on when Denki, resident trauma specialist, and Hitoshi, the neuropsychologist, will start dating.
The punchline is that they are married.)

Spit dribbles down Denki’s chin, a vomit-like substance coats his tongue. He wraps his arms around his knees, drawing them close to his chest. Normally, rocking back and forth soothes his nerves, but instead it just makes his anxiety skyrocket.
