Phainon’s life is by all accounts perfect. He has a dream job working as a member of the Chrysos Heirs, crime-fighting superheroes who have kept New Okhema safe from threats ranging from rampaging world-destroying titans to unwieldy traffic on Monday mornings. He’s dating the girl of his dreams, Stelle, a journalist for the Express who matches him in humor and taste. He lives with his childhood friend in a semi-decent apartment and is surrounded by his friends at all times.
And yet the shadows of the past linger, and his run-ins with the Stellaron Hunter named Raccoon Girl (who always seems to know more about him than she should) have the chance of upending his life once more. Raccoon Girl saved him two years ago, and while Phainon is content to continue this dance with her forever more, calls for the Stellaron Hunters to be captured are growing louder and louder. Now the only question that remains is whether he will answer them or trust Raccoon Girl when she says greater dangers are afoot.

The city around him unraveled into streaks of neon and shadow, buildings and lights blurring together as he fell. The ground (road?) below surged upward, black and merciless, dotted with bright lights- cars, he realized- but ones that didn’t float.
Dimly, he wondered- was this what the twins had felt on their first descent into the sweet dream? That instant, primal certainty that death was waiting at the bottom? The helplessness against the force of gravity?
Only this time, his death was certain. There was no dream, no Ena’s Order to protect him from his doom.

Or, the astral express members( Sunny, Caelus, Stelle, March, and Dan Heng) somehow get themselves de-aged and accidently find themselves in the MHA universe. Absolute chaos and disaster occurs, and... stuff happens.
Sunday may or may not be regretting joining the express now.

Sensing her unease, Kusuo’s lips pulled into a smirk. ‘Scared? Having a change of heart already?’
It would be a lie to say that she wasn’t afraid of him, like one was taught to be afraid of hurricanes and earthquakes. But he didn’t strike her with the same kind of raw, tangible fear as her brother did. Makoto had no apparent powers, but when he walked into a room and glanced in her direction, Kokomi wanted to tear off her own skin. Kusuo, even with all his abilities, did not affect her in the same way.
“No.” Kokomi answered, an unexpected roughness tinging her voice. “There are worse people out there.”
The smirk slipped away from Kusuo’s face. It was a strange sensation, to not be regarded as the monster in the story this time.
Then, what was he?
In which Kusuo is fine playing a pretend villain and just wants to be left alone. Too bad the pesky runaway princess won’t let him be.
