“For fuck’s sake, Kageyama.” Sakusa shook his head, his eyes still on Hinata. “I don’t want your Alpha.”

“Do you want him to be?”
The question hung in the air like a spike about to end the match. A second passed, an eternity in frozen time.
“Yes.”
Tobio was surprised at the syllable that came from his lips, a whispered secret he’d kept even from himself.
“There’s a way to make it happen.” Sakusa finally turned in his direction. His pupils were dilated, and Tobio could smell a hint of fresh rain, and something herbal beneath that. Rosemary? Sage? He inhaled deeply, trying to figure it out the source of the aroma. Sakusa shivered. “Please… stop scenting me.”

"Where would the fun in that be?" Kiyoomi responds as he steps out of the dimly lit corridor. The barrel of his gun points right between Atsumu's eyebrows, his other hand reaching out between their bodies. "The briefcase, please, Miya."
Miya Atsumu just wants to do his job, save the city, and maybe work things out with his ex—if he’s lucky.
His ex being the mercenary hired to find the same deadly bioweapon is kind of getting in the way of all that.

Upon receiving them, Kiyoomi cut the heads off the dianthus’ and left them by his mothers bed. A bad omen, the shrine keepers had insisted with quivering voices. Perhaps he is not the one. His parents sent him to the woods anyway.

Summary
Miya Atsumu forgets to submit his room request form and ends up stuck in a room with Sakusa Kiyoomi, irritable, private and a wheelchair user who explicitly asked for a single room and was denied it anyway.
They clash over everything: noise, boundaries, independence, and the fact that Atsumu cares way more than he should.
