Summary
This was one of the sweetest things someone had ever casually done for him, which either means that Zaki is really sweet, or Tamon’s life is really sad. Even Zaki calling him a weirdo was swoon worthy. He unpaused it, eager to hear more of Zaki’s voice, but a little disappointed that he had to hear him struggle through explaining his poor notes.

Zaki does the nicest thing he's ever done, and tries to help Tamon catch up on school word while he's sick.

Vash is silent after that. Wolfwood doesn’t dare to open his eyes and try and gauge his expression. It’s not like Vash is perfectly intuitive all the time, but he has his moments, and sometimes it feels like he can cut through Wolfwood with a single glance. It’s a quality that Wolfwood has admired in him, from time to time, but right now, he’s not sure he could take it.
“...Should we take her back?” Vash whispers. “If you really think we should—”
“No,” Wolfwood cuts him off, probably too loud, “I said no.”

“I could ask you the same question,” Kakyoin scoffs. “I know how to board a bus and get to a hotel on my own, you patronizing-”
“When Jiji said they were sending someone else he seriously meant you?” Jotaro questions, seemingly more to himself than anyone else, considering how he hunches inward, voice so quiet it’s almost hard to hear over the waves.
Kakyoin blinks, the heat of anger pausing in his chest due to overwhelming shock at the pure audacity. Kakyoin blinks again, and the anger resumes, about 20 degrees hotter. “Excuse me?”

Part 4 AU where Kakyoin is alive but at a cost. As he figures out how to pay that cost, he tries to help wrangle the Morioh kids while also trying not to strangle Jotaro (it'd be nice if they could also learn how to communicate again too, but Kakyoin attempts to be realistic).
