Summary
Galadriel and Halbrand are in Númenor. When she is thrown in jail for sedition against the Queen Regent, she and Halband find themselves alone and able to plan for the future. Galadriel is bent on continuing her quest to find Morgoth's Shadow, but Halbrand attempts to change her plans. He plants within her mind the idea that she should rest. Relax. Cease her journey. His words worm their way into her innermost being and what should have been the bridge to the next leg of her hunt for Sauron turns into an opportunity to help the Queen Regent with a problem of her own. As Galadriel works to avert a crisis heading for Numenor, she and Halbrand grow closer and closer, even to the point of falling in love.
But Galadriel doesn't know what lurks beneath the surface… That the very one she seeks is beneath her own passionate hands. That the destruction of Numenor resides in the intentions of the man she has come to love more than life itself.
*This is a canon-divergent fic, with things in Númenor happening differently than they do in The Rings of Power Season One.

Summary
After returning to Valinor in the 3rd age, Galadriel is ready to spend time with Finrod and her parents, reconnect with her daughter and enjoy the peace she has more than earned. Unfortunately, Morgoth is set to become a problem again.
Even more unfortunate for her, she's being tasked by the Valar to help prevent his rising. Worse still, the plan will only succeed if she and Sauron work together. AKA the Valar send Sauron and Galadriel back in time to prevent Morgoth's rising.

Summary
He walks through tall stalks of wheat grass beside the woods, his palm extended outward beside him to catch the ticklish crested tips against his fingers.
He takes pleasure in inhabiting a body. In fact, he prefers it to a solely spiritual manifestation. This corporeal existence has many fine things in store. Many of which he is still figuring out. The tickle of the wheat grass sends a ripple up his arm and through his shoulder into his spine, igniting the little hairs on the nape of his neck to stand to attention. The sensation is riveting, and he closes his eyes, tipping his face upward to the sky. The bold heat from the golden light of Laurelin feels like the bite of a fire too close to his skin, reminding him of his forge, a sudden warmth coursing along all his veins throughout his body.
Her laugh echoes out first.

Summary
It was not a task she had taken up lightly. His farce and betrayal had been deep. She had trusted him as her friend, and he had played the part very well, earning her faith and loyalty and following her where others of her own kind had feared to tread. The Elves had all but turned their backs on her, but he rode through water, fire, and dangerous land by her side—all the while knowing she sought him out in order to end his existence, but he pretended he was something else. He had used her need for retaliation against her to serve his own means, to entrap his own enemy, and he did it all with a smile on his face.
The hand upon her hilt shook ever so slightly, and a familiar voice called out to her from the shadows.
“Losing your resolve already?” he teased her in light mockery, a hint of laughter echoing afterwards. It resonated in the den of darkness before her, a haunting song that seemed to fill her ears to the brim with each echo. Predator and prey, but who was the hunter and who was the prey?
