Church huffed as he walked through the castle halls down toward the training grounds, Tucker following close behind.
“You’re joking, right?” he asked. Church sighed and gave Tucker a look. Tucker put his hands up in a mercy position.
“Hey! I'm just saying, you said you’d never take a squire! Anytime it got brought up in the past you rolled your eyes and walked away!”
Church rolled his eyes as he turned his head away to keep walking
“Like that! Exactly!” Tucker exclaimed. Church huffed irritatedly.
“Look- will you just lay off, man? Let it go.”
Church squinted as they walked, his eyes adjusted to the bright the sun as they made it outside. hee quickly scanned the training field, spotting a pile of dark blue armour curled up in red-stained grass and surrounded by a squad of other knights. Tucker must’ve caught the look on Church’s face because he looked too, eyes widening.
“Tucker, this-... that's not good…”
