“What? No... You,” Wilbur stuttered. “We missed your birthday?” A soft whisper of defeat and Tommy begs the gods for this pain to be fatal. “Why didn’t you tell us?”

“He got hurt,” Tommy confesses brokenly, eyes shining. He angrily swipes the side of his hand across his cheek, but Phil has already seen the tears. “They hurt him, and– and I can’t fix it.”
A plea shatters across his face, begging and begging.
“You can fix him,” the fledgeling sniffles. “That’s what everyone says. Vampire blood is magic.”
“Little one,” Phil begins softly, straining forward in his chains. He doesn’t have a heartbeat, but pity pangs so strongly inside of him that it feels like one. “I can only- I can try."
-Tommy traps a vampire in order to save his brother. Phil is never one to pass up an opportunity to expand his coven - even an unusual one. (ft. vampire!phil treating an abduction as a bonding experience.)

Tommy thrust his arms out, grinning. "Sunscreen me up, big man!" he shrieked. Ohhhh he liked this room, it smelled like Wilbur and Phil and Techno and it was safe and fuzzy, but man. Tommy wanted out. At least for a little bit.
Techno took his time, wrapping Tommy up in this sunscreen that smelled a lot like Techno's weirdass body soap. Through the whole process, the older vampire was purring, his chest rumbling softly as he got sunscreen on Tommy's ears, his cheeks, his nose. The hat was a giant sunhat with a dark wrap-around veil, and Techno brushed the veil aside to put the sunglasses over Tommy’s eyes.
“This is a…” well, Tommy was about to say a bit much, but Techno fixed him with a glare so withering that Tommy immediately shut his mouth. “...fun hat. Super pog. So great. This hat gets all the bitc-”
“That’s enough of that,” Techno sighed, a fond grin pulling at his lips.

A scrapbook. Packed with reminders of Wilbur. It wouldn’t be hard as there were many things he could include. Like hot chocolate, the number two, bark on trees that didn’t grate at your fingers as you brushed down it, blueberry tastes, sunflowers and shoelaces tied like bunny ears. But how could he include all that in a scrapbook?
“Would he like that?” Tommy asked, quiet and hesitant.
Schlatt scoffed. “Kid, you could give him absolutely nothing but a single laugh and the bastard would thank you the most.”
5 times Tommy attempted to give back to Wilbur + 1 time he realised he never really had to.
