Summary
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.
It was supposed to be planned around his schedule- aligned with winter break, maybe. Or even after he’d retired. He should’ve been with his partner, whoever they were; he’d never dared hope it would be Max. He should’ve been wrapped in their embrace, murmuring hushed words of excitement to one another as they waited for the minutes to pass and a result to show on the test.
They should’ve found out together. Ready. Eager. Full of love.
Instead it was like this: alone, curled on a cold bathroom floor, a painfully impersonal PDF staring at Charles from his phone. The only positivity to be found in the situation was sitting in the results column of the file, neatly slotted next to the word pregnancy.
The email. The result. The loneliness. It was all too much. Charles began to cry once again.
At the top of his screen, a response popped up with impeccable timing.
i told you not to text me.
Alternatively:
Charles is in love with Max. Max is in love with Charles. It really is that complicated, and then it gets worse.
Meanwhile, Lando just wants Oscar to kiss him, and he's not quite sure how to make that happen.

Summary
The man walked in, and instantly the room fell quiet. Without even saying a word, he commanded the place, a sense of power in his eyes that captivated everyone. He wasn’t very tall, not very imposing at all, and looked exactly like the type of person that would give this kind of speech – tattoos, unbuttoned shirt, loose slacks.
Max didn’t like him already.Bookmarked by almostquinoa

Summary
After the chaotic Qatar GP, George Russell and Max Verstappen crossed a line they swore they never would. They called it a mistake.
Two months later, Max discovers he’s pregnant. He tells George, but is met with cold distance. Furious and humiliated, Max says he’ll terminate it and a week later texts: “You don’t need to worry anymore.” George believes him. Life moves on.
Until one morning, the headlines explode: Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen expecting a child.
The paddock erupts, fans roar, Ferrari’s PR rejoices and George’s world tilts. The math doesn’t add up.
What if Max lied?
As George wrestles with his doubts, Max fights to protect the secret. Charles plays the part of “father” perfectly, but lies this big crack eventually.
And when they do, George and Max will have to face the truth — about the baby, the night it all began and what they still mean to each other.

Summary
Charles thinks of most relationships in his life as a part of his own makeshift universe. Himself as Mercury – warm and alight and a direct embodiment of the character of the Sun, of Ferrari, of his legacy. He has so much to prove. So much to do. Too small a mind, a body, a soul, to be able to truly exude the mass of such a team and future and past.
He wonders, sometimes, about how the first planet to be decimated, go entirely frozen, should the Sun die, is Mercury.
He knows his hands are cold.
He wonders if he’s already half-way there.
