It takes a moment, but Jaehee can feel his mouth snap shut when he sees the man sitting alone at the bar, chin resting in his hand, one leg crossed over the other. His skin is tan, the light of the bar fluttering over it in such a pretty way (how is that possible?). He's wearing a dark tank-top that fits so tightly around his body, showing off his figure. His hair is slightly long, curling beneath his ears. Jaehee's mouth feels dry when he sees the man's face, how pretty his lips look from this far away. The man's eyes appear to be scanning the place, so analytical, so beautiful. Jaehee thinks his knees are trembling right now. "Sion, real or fake?"
Or: the world is overcome by AI and debilitating consumerism. It's easy for Jaehee to find people to share one-night stands with, but it's hard for him to remember the last time he's been in love. It all changes so fast when he decides to go to the Golden Street bar with Sion.
