"Christmas Wrapping (Baby, it's cold outside)" 1984 - Joyce helps Hopper get ready for El's first Christmas. Hopper helps Joyce get out of a Christmas funk.
"If Only in my Dreams" 1985 & ? - One Christmas spent a world apart. Another, together again.

Summary
Hopper is back in Hawkins for a few days and has big news to share with his old friend, but he finds Joyce a bit worse for wear, only a few days before Christmas, 1971.
“Lonnie’s not home, I take it?”
Joyce rolled her eyes. Wasn’t that obvious? “Of course not. It’s Thursday night, right? And isn’t that why you came by? You wouldn’t be standing on my front porch if he was the one answering the door.”
Hopper sighed, feeling a bit like a punching bag, but he took it. She clearly needed someone to vent to.
“Joyce.” He said her name with every ounce of patience he could muster. “Do you need some help?”

Summary
Set in Joyce and Hopper's senior year of highschool, and written a few years before the First Shadow, so the years have been adjusted according to hints we were given in canon before they play was officially set in '59. I like to think 64/65 makes more sense anyway....
Also Joyce's last name is Horowitz in this series, also because it was written before the play and Horowitz was considered her fanon maiden name.
Mostly Jopper fluff :)

Summary
The first bell rang, a piercing screech. The familiar thud of feet boomed overhead and they both looked up, instinctively.
“High school is different than junior high,” he observed, his eyes still lingering on the steps above them. “Things change.”
“Well…we won’t let it,” she cut in, fiercely. “Promise?”Best friends to lovers. My take on the missing pieces of Joyce and Hopper's story, told through their alternating POVs over the years. Originally inspired by their reminiscing in 2x2. Spoilers through S3, this will cover their childhood through present day. Special shoutout to REO Speedwagon for the title, and for having literally an entire discography that reminds me of Joyce/Hop in some way or another. All comments are welcome.

Summary: Murray had been incorrect in his assumption that Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper had never gotten to know each other in the biblical sense. They had - in fact - been together exactly three times. Once in high school, once shortly after his return to Hawkins, and once right under Murray's roof. It was the final time that was to have lasting consequences for the both of them.
