Summary
Hopper is back in Hawkins for a few days and has big news to share with his old friend, but he finds Joyce a bit worse for wear, only a few days before Christmas, 1971.
“Lonnie’s not home, I take it?”
Joyce rolled her eyes. Wasn’t that obvious? “Of course not. It’s Thursday night, right? And isn’t that why you came by? You wouldn’t be standing on my front porch if he was the one answering the door.”
Hopper sighed, feeling a bit like a punching bag, but he took it. She clearly needed someone to vent to.
“Joyce.” He said her name with every ounce of patience he could muster. “Do you need some help?”

Old friends reunite briefly just before Christmas, but can they still be friends after everything they've been through?
---Joyce Byers saw the ghost of Christmas past.
Right there in the produce section of the supermarket, across the display of crated oranges, hovering over the bulk bins. Jim Hopper had caught her eye, and she stopped in her tracks and gasped. It was clear by the shock written all over her face that she wasn’t expecting to see him.
“What are you doing here?”
The words tumbled out of her before she bit down on her bottom lip so hard, there was no way she didn’t taste blood, and her eyes went wide. She blinked once, twice, and gave her head a little shake. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing -- was it really him?

(or why Joyce hates Jim Hopper's guts -- a love story)
Joyce wants to ask Hopper something, but he's being a jerk. As usual.
A ficlet for young Jopper, set in their senior year of high school, and written a few years before the First Shadow, so the years have been adjusted according to hints we were given in canon before they play was officially set in '59. I like to think 64/65 makes more sense anyway....
Also Joyce's last name is Horowitz in this series, also because it was written before the play and Horowitz was considered her fanon maiden name.

Summary
Joyce has a couple of unexpected trick-or-treaters show up on her doorstep in 1976.
Who the hell is that? She wondered. She wasn’t expecting anyone, and they never got trick-or-treaters this far outside of town. It couldn’t be the boys, either. Joyce was sure they’d be halfway through their first round of houses with Nancy and Mike by now.
Her brain started feeding her all sorts of potential nightmares of who could be on the other side of the door on a cold Halloween night: an ax-wielding serial killer; aliens from outer space; a monster without a face. Common sense told her that none of those evil things would be polite enough to knock, but as she slowly opened the door, she wished she remembered where Lonnie hid the shotgun.

Summary
Joyce and Hopper revisit old relationships and memories at their 10 year high school reunion.
Staring down at the steps below, the one place she remembered vividly from her formative years, she realized it hadn’t changed much at all. Sure, there was some new graffiti, a few more cracks but other than that it was ever the same as ten years ago. Looking at it from that angle, Joyce felt the same too; a few cracks in the facade, some new scars, but not much else had changed. There were even times she forgot that she was closing in on thirty now… she certainly didn’t feel any older than her teenage self. Funny how time could fly like that.
