She beckons you forward and you move towards her without needing to think it over, too hungry for touch and comfort to deprive yourself of it because of your pride. She pulls you into her lap, holding you close and gently, and it reminds you so much of your mother it makes you want to weep.
Alcina presses her lips to the top of your head, ever so gentle, as she is with everything towards you. “My darling, you will be alright. You are safe now. It will be okay.”
You do not respond, burying your face into her side, curling your fingers around the simple white dress your lady favors. She hums at that, continuing her gentle caressing of your hair, soothing some deep ache within you that you still cannot quite name.
_The reader is given up by their parents to the House of Dimitrescu in exchange for the means to leave the godforsaken country. Afraid and alone, the reader finds that the Lady of the castle is much kinder than most would say. In fact, she's quite maternal. (Soft CG! Alcina Dimitrescu, Gender-Neutral Reader)

Summary
Izuku and Bakugou are kidnapped by villains and made to participate in a cruel Game to test them. The catch? Bakugou is given quirk suppressants and it's up to Izuku to make sure they both make it out alive- if either of them do. Far away, Aizawa and All Might watch with mounting horror as their students go through what children weren't built to withstand. (Makes sense without the series)

He is on his knees before he knows it, and the agony is unlike what he's known. One-For-All burns to life in his veins and it is a sun in his chest, bright and crackling and electric against his skin. He grits his teeth. “Kacchan,” he says through the taste of metal. He can't keep this up forever, quirk or not. “Go.”But Bakugou doesn't leave, staring at his hands like they're traitors. “I can't.”
“Ka-cchan!” He feels stuck in place, every bone of his aflame with the power he's borrowing. “Just go! Please.”
“You'll die here!” Bakugou yells back, ragged and broken and angry. Softer, he says, “I'm not leaving you.”

Summary
Izuku gets de-aged to 3 years old and Shota Aizawa is really not being paid enough to deal with any of this.

“Izuku, how old are you right now?”Izuku's wide green eyes stare back at him. “I'm- I'm 3, Mr. Eraser.”
“Okay. What's the last thing you remember?”
Izuku looks down at his lap, his small fingers tracing over a bruise on his stomach. “Papa was angry cause I was too loud. So I cried and took a nap and now I'm awake here... Did Papa take me here?”
Shota exhales and decides that the truth might be too confusing for now. “Well, I'm going to take care of you until you feel better, okay? You're going to be staying with me for now. Your dad's gone. He won't hurt you anymore.”
Izuku looks up, eyes full of hope that dares not be called hope, something so shaky and hesitant but desperate nonetheless. “Really?”
And for once, Shota gives his student a smile. “I promise. Cross my heart.”

Summary
Severus, for all of his genuine faults and less genuine appearances, does not condone any child coming to harm. It results in men like him.~~~
Severus is called to check on Harry after the mess of the end of his First Year, and to have Petunia call him a freak right out of the gate is far from encouraging. To then find the boy curled up in a corner of a locked room only confirms things.
Severus takes Harry away from that abominable place without hesitation, and perhaps even wins enough of his trust to be asked to take him in by the end of it all.
