Sansa thought it would be quaint, a little jaunt into the city, to see the Christmas lights, pick up some last minute gifts, drown herself in mulled wine in the little pub she likes near Hyde Park, but she’s already at her wits end, no matter how pretty the lights. They are pretty though. It reminds her of being a girl again, on her father’s shoulders, making the journey from Greenwich to the West End each year, to take in the lights and go to Harrods. She too old to ask Ned Stark to oblige her, no doubt he would if she did. So she’s come alone, for the first time since she has been free again, since she has been Sans once more. It isn’t the same.
She shouldn’t have thought it would be.

Sansa had told him it was a blessing. The Old Gods had shown her their favour and given her a protector.
“They restored Jon to me, and now they’ve brought me you!” she’d said as she tucked Rickon into his furs at night. “I have faith that they will lead us to Arya, and Bran, and then home.”
Jon called it a curse. The gods had cruelly ripped him back from an everlasting, dreamless sleep. They’d forced him to continue fighting when it was all he’d done since he was seven and ten. They’d reunited him with the woman he loved, but he could never hold her in his arms, nor see the sunshine transform her hair from copper to gold.
When Rickon told Sansa what their cousin had said during the day, she braided her fiery hair into a thick rope, then sliced it from her head with the knife she kept in her belt.
“Give this to Jon in the morning,” she instructed, “and remind him that I love him.”
As Jon grieved over Sansa’s hair, and Rickon was inclined to believe he had the right of it — they were cursed.
Destined to be always together, and forever apart.

The one time between them was an aberration. Youthful folly. Jon knows this without question. For a whole host of reasons. Such as, the Starks have a ski home and a private jet to get them there, while he's struggling to pay a mortgage. It's impossible. Still, it manages to feel awkward every time Sansa's single and she floats around him with soft smiles and teasing eyes. Especially with the sound of the shower running and only a door between them. He shouldn't have had that third beer.

He appoints himself her personal bodyguard after learning that she has a stalker. The only problem is, it can be hard to do his job when he finds himself growing increasingly jealous as his feelings towards her deepen.
This fic is the result of several prompts I received asking for Jealous!Jon and Possessive!Jon so I combined them into one. You can expect Kill Bill sirens a few times as well as a healthy dose of Sweetheart!Jon. This story will not be particularly violent or dark.

After all, anything can happen in Winterfell at Yuletide.
