MMCF Prompt 127. Remus doesn't have anything better to do with his time and is starved for connection, so he volunteers to be a pen pal for an inmate at a prison (Sirius). Over the course of their letters, they open up to each other and Remus starts to wonder if Sirius might be telling the truth about his innocence. When Sirius is granted early probation for good behavior, Remus has to decide if he wants to stay in touch...or more. (Great epistolary potential!)Commented. Compelling modern AU, epistolary, human and tender.
