It settled in his stomach like a bundle of fire licking at his insides, warming his entire body against his will. He didn’t want to be warm, not when he could no longer see Albrecht, his vision obscured by the large bodies that crowded him. The yelling, the talking, it was all too much, and he could no longer tell just how far Albrecht was– he had left, it was too late. The red lights were blinding.
