Summary
A retelling of the Fifth Holy Grail War in which Rin summons Saber as her servant instead of Archer. It is a mixture of the "Heaven's Feel" route from the original game and original plot elements. This version of Fate/Stay Night focuses primarily on Rin and Saber's relationship while also exploring the themes of familial expectation, duty, gender, and sexuality.
Some of this fanfic was posted some time ago, but this is the completely reworked, director's cut version which will be posted in full with refined lore, tons of additional passages and interactions, and all new chapters. Ultimately, beyond the first few chapters, it is almost an entirely new fanfic from the original.

Summary
Nicole and Jecka are not a good match.
They enable their worst habits, hurt everyone around them, and can’t go a month without blowing up at each other. Their communication is terrible, their coping skills minimal, and their ‘solutions’ never actually fix or address anything close to the problem.
They are, by any and all definitions, extremely toxic.
But, really, none of that matters, because they’re gonna make it work no matter who or what they need to sacrifice to get there in the end. They’re not worth the effort? Says who? Not really for anybody else to decide, now is it?
Being alone is bad enough.
Being alone without the one person who really gets you, for better or mostly worse?
Fuck that.

Summary
Everything was supposed to be simple after graduation.
Everything was supposed to make sense. Life was supposed to finally feel good, right? Nice and easy? Yeah, sorry, no. Nothing ever is.
Barely two weeks into their final summer before college, Nicole and Jecka self-destruct into a firestorm of bottled trauma, lies, sex, drugs, and not nearly enough punk rock to justify their bullshit.
Unfortunately, or, in Emily's case, fortunately, the fallout is so catastrophic that it drags basically everybody they know into the inescapably messy black hole they’ve left in their wake.
It’s one hell of a day.

这个想法可能是受到了我现在处于的年龄段的影响，但本文，和这个系列真的会使人沉默反省。 我最近重新开始寻求心理咨询，并发现对我内在情绪最难越过的忐忑就是我对人际关系的定义。在此时我从未谈过恋爱，而身边的朋友和家人，他们在我人生中办的角色并无法满足我所憧憬的友谊。也未必是恋爱或是什么伴侣关系。这个现象对于年轻人而言是常见的，非常常见。虽然我在探索文学的旅途才迈出了第一步，我相信在文学领域中描述青年友谊的小说一定是无限量的。
这份感情，浪漫的定义，你愿意为伴侣付出多少，能否在对方的身边留到最后，这些难题都会被解答。
当时在读本文的结尾独白我开始放温室杂草《在这个年代，找不到浪漫》，热泪盈眶，读到了尽头。「现在的浪漫都只是糜烂」这句话我相信是事实，在2009一定也是事实，但本文中的角色还是找到了她们独特的一种浪慢。
我能承认Jecka与Nicole之间的友谊并不完美，她们的交触甚至具有一种使人恐惧的相互依赖性。尽管如此，她们的那份感情在我眼中就是珍贵无双的。
让我动心，能复苏我对感情的欲望的同人文，理所当然是一件好事。感谢作者。
