A hundred years after the end of the Second War, Harry Potter, Master of Death, unwittingly helps the last fragment of Lord Voldemort’s soul escape Limbo. Now, bound by Fate to Tom Riddle for the next five years, Harry has to coexist with the man he feared the most.
Or: Auror M.O.D. Harry and Tom Riddle strike an uneasy truce and solve crimes together, and Harry has to decide if his capacity to save everyone includes everyone, really.
OR: an excuse for Harry and Tom to be a crime-fighting duo like Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, while also trying not to strangle each other.

“Before there was Voldemort, there was Grindelwald, a dark wizard who started a war with the muggles and nomajs. With magic now known to the non magicals, it comes with it the need for secrecy. To put it simply, witches and wizards are being hunted down for experiments and execution. Harry Potter's parents were executed when he was only a baby after the British government found them in possession of magical texts. Instead of killing baby Harry, they placed him in an orphanage. The same orphanage that one Tom Riddle lives in. What follows is enemies to friends to lovers as they try to band together to bring the Wizarding world back together.”

So Tom concocts a plan.
Step One: Get Harry to go to Hogsmeade with him. (Through force, if necessary.)
Step Two: Convince him Tom is trustworthy.
Step Three: Fuck him.He laments the effort this is going to take, the way he could use this time to continue networking at the Ministry for his eventual take-over, but he needs to get the other boy out of his system. Tom hopes that by seeing Harry in his most vulnerable state he’ll finally be able to stop thinking about him non-stop.
