There is no answer for a minute, drawn out so long that Mike almost thinks the call somehow disconnected despite the lack of a dial tone. He pulls the phone away from his face, looks at it as if that’ll give him any clarity on the matter, and lifts it back to his ear. “Hel—“
“Uh,” Jonathan finally says, somehow more awkward than Mike, “It is Will.”
Mike nearly drops the fucking phone.

'Without really thinking about it, he leaned his head against Ronan’s shoulder. He felt him stiffen and almost pulled back, but then Ronan relaxed and put his head on top of Adam’s and Adam heaved out a breath. Ronan removed his hand and before Adam could miss the contact, he shifted to wrap his arm around Adam and the ache in his chest subsided just a little. He didn’t remember the last time he had felt this safe and at home in someone’s arms.'
