An irrepressible part of Alan struck his pen through Jack’s words—can’t mix your innuendos like that, Jack, tugging on what you’re meant to stick into—and reminded himself that this was fucking, not writing. He’d have to learn to lose himself in this new role, to quiet the parts of his mind that Jack usually silenced by, well, tugging and sticking into.
“I’d be happy to demonstrate, so that his lordship knows he’s getting his money’s worth this evening.” Alan trailed his hands, coy and supplicating, along the inside of Jack’s thigh, coaxing him to spread his legs. “I’m quite skilled at whatever a gentleman wants, or however he wants his purse dipped into.”

‘Fancied a spot of stargazing,’ Alan said. ‘What do you think? I couldn’t sleep.’
‘Couldn’t sleep?’
‘No.’
‘Why?’ Jack half sat up. ‘Do you need an extra pillow?’
‘Do I n—’ Alan broke off, incredulous. ‘Who are you planning on mugging for that? Every pillow in London is already on this bed.’

Set towards the end of Eye of the World:
Rand has a big nap towards the end of the book and we miss a reasonable chunk of time while he does this. In this time, Moiraine is found after her confrontation with Aginor, and Nynaeve presumably intervened to stop her dying from her wounds. This is that fic, filling in that missing time, with the added twist of 'what if RJ wrote these female characters like they were actual reasonable human beings capable of updating their initial reaction to a person with new evidence? and also I started hinting towards a distant future poly relationship that would have been so much healthier and better all round?' So, you know, my usual.
'Her heart and stomach both lurched and she halted on the fringes of the trees, staring at the scene before her. A scream rose up in her memory, unbidden, but as present as if it tore at her ears now. Moiraine’s scream. It was unlike any scream she had ever heard. The sound had chased her as she ran, more terrified than she had felt in her life. There had been no thought in her mind but to run away, as Moiraine bought and fuelled each frantic step with those terrible screams.'
