Summary
You groan as consciousness returns to you. A pounding headache greets you, pulsing in time with your heartbeat. A sticky, gross taste lingers in your mouth. But you're nice and warm, too. Soft silk brushing your skin, cozy blankets wrapped around you, the plush of a mattress perfectly holding up your body.
You wince as you squint your eyes open. The room is dark - a true saving grace. You blearily look around, trying to make sense of your surroundings, until it all clicks together in one: you're in Sylus's room. In fact, you can see the back of his head peeking out overtop the couch.
With a yawn, you push yourself up. As the blankets slip down, the cold air sets in, raising goosebumps all down your arms. You're still in your dress. No wonder you're so cold.
Sylus turns his head as he hears you moving around, turning his body with it and resting his arm along the back of the couch. "Sleep well?" he asks, teasing.

Something was wrong with little Miss firecracker. The first red flag was when the myriad of trackers he had on her all went dark at once on her little fieldtrip to Skyhaven. Had to smoosh her friend Tara to barely get any pieces of the story. It was a mission though so fine. Sylus could back off giver her space let her work.
Till she came back and something wasn’t right.or
