Denki had started dragging him to the library late at night for “emotional support” a few months back, and Hitoshi really couldn’t be happier to oblige. They developed a routine quickly; Hitoshi brought books to read and Denki spent hours on the same math problem until, frustrated, he’d ask for Hitoshi’s help. It wasn’t that Hitoshi was the smartest or that he was even the best teacher; it was that he maintained patience with the blonde that no one else had.
Or, if Hitoshi was being honest with himself, it wasn’t really patience so much as the fact that he could spend hours just looking at Denki Kaminari, which meant he didn’t mind sitting and watching him struggle.

“Denki!" Ashido blinked her eyes wide, exasperated. "We're best bitches, right? Just tell me! Which boy in class A would you fuck?”
Kaminari sighed in resignation as he pushed himself up to stand. “Everyone in class is so pretty, Mina. How am I supposed to choose?” He scanned the room to figure out where his shirt ended up after Ashido tossed it earlier, spotting it hanging off the backrest of her hot pink zebra-striped desk chair. “I know you think I’m joking, but I’m really not. I’m sticking with my first answer.” He pulled the shirt over his head, smiling sheepishly as he combed his fingers through his hair. “Everyone. I would sleep with everyone.”
“Except Mineta,” she clarified.
“Especially Mineta,” he replied, nodding solemnly.
